Ancient trade routes

Douglas Magnus is one of the few American designers who sources his materials from his own famous Cerrillos Turquoise mines: Tiffany, Castilian, and Alisia located on Turquoise Hill near Santa Fe. Each piece is rare, natural, and one of a kind. All jewelry is handmade at Magnus Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Turquoise from Cerrillos and other mines, was processed and passed through Chaco on its way far south to Mexico, and has even been traced to Canada.
The mines themselves may have been supervised by the Anazazi people!?  The shot glasses shown are made with fine natural turquoise remnants mines in homage to the Anazazi people!
